Inter are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski ahead of a free transfer next summer.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims the Poland international is on the verge of agreeing personal terms with the Nerazzurri, moving to the Stadio Meazza on a free transfer in the summer as his contract at the Stadio Maradona runs out this coming June.
Talks between Beppe Marotta and Zielinski’s agent Bart Bolek are said to be at an advanced stage, and according to Tuttosport, only ‘the official statement is missing’ to confirm the Poland international’s transfer to the Stadio Meazza.
As per Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter have offered Zielinski a three-year deal with an option for a further campaign. The proposed salary is €4.5m plus add-ons, more than his current €5m-a-year contract, including add-ons, at Napoli.
The Partenopei could make one last attempt to keep him at the club, but according to Corriere dello Sport, the 29-year-old seems eager to join Inter and reject offers from other teams including RB Leipzig and West Ham.
