Inter Milan are currently in advanced talks with Piotr Zielinski and his representatives over a free transfer when his contract with Napoli expires at the end of the season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 29-year-old midfielder has made a total of 26 appearances for Napoli in all competitions, scoring three goals and producing as many assists, but he’s recently been suffering from a muscle fatigue. Furthermore, head coach Walter Mazzarri has left him out of his squad for the upcoming knockout stages in the Champions League, where his team will face Barcelona in the round of 16. It appears that Zielinski might not be fully focused on the task at hand, with his future currently up in the air.
The Poland international joined Napoli from Udinese back in 2016, and this is certainly not the first time his name has appeared in stories about potential transfers.
🚨🇵🇱 Napoli have excluded Piotr Zielinski from the Champions League list for the upcoming games.
