In today’s political landscape, where expediency often overshadows principles, Georgia State Senator Colton Moore is a rare breed of lawmaker who prioritizes “We The People” over his own political career. His time in office has been characterized not just by his commitment to fighting for freedom and exposing corruption, but by his rare courage to challenge entrenched powers, even when it means standing alone against his own party.
The actions of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 other conservatives, have raised alarms about the potential politicization of legal authority. Many see this as a dangerous maneuver, using the justice system as a weapon against political opponents. While Americans across the country were demanding answers, Sen. Moore took up their cause and chose to speak out. He called for an immediate investigation into Willis’s misuse of prosecutorial power, advocating that no American, regardless of their political leanings, should ever be targeted by a weaponized justice system.
Sen. Moore’s outspoken defense of President Trump is more than a political statement; it’s a stand against setting a dangerous legal precedent where anyone’s freedom could be compromised by political bias. This commonsense stance led to his expulsion from the Georgia Senate Republican Caucus, as his peers attempted to silence his dissent. Yet, his removal from the “RINO Caucus” only further charged the fight to hold Willis and everybody involved in the weaponization of her office accountable.

Sen. Moore’s drive for transparency and accountability was also displayed during a memorial for the late House Speaker David Ralston. While the expected protocol was to ignore the former Speaker’s political past, Moore chose this moment to speak out about corruption, placing honesty and integrity above traditional decorum. His subsequent ban from the House for these remarks only proves that he is one of the few politicians who will expose the truth, regardless of the personal or political cost.
An unconstitutional ban from the House didn’t stop Sen. Moore from doing the job he was elected to do. Earlier this month, Moore was placed in handcuffs and taken to the Fulton County jail for attempting to attend Governor Brian Kemp’s State of the State address. His arrest for trying to fulfill his constitutional duties to his constituents sends a chilling message about the current state of our country. Charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, Moore’s treatment was not just an overreach but a symbol of how far those in power will go to silence dissent.
To some, Sen. Moore might seem like a disruptor, but these criticisms either intentionally or unintentionally ignore the larger picture. Moore offers something profoundly different than what we expect from the established status quo: a proven America-First fighter devoted not to personal gain or party dominance but to the core principles of liberty and justice.
I stand with Colton Moore because he has proven time and time again that he stands with us. His actions reflect a person who deeply understands the Constitution and the protective barriers it erects against governmental overreach.
He doesn’t just occupy an office; he fights for We The People.
